A Happy Brain is a Healthy Brain.

I'd like to share with you my top three brain-health advice.

When it comes to fitness, the brain is one of those organs in the body that we often overlook.

Have you been neglecting your grey matter for too long?

If that's the case, following pointers will assist you in getting your brain in terrific form in a short amount of time.

Don't be so hard on yourself; instead of trying to fit them all in today, spread them out over the following few days or perhaps a week.

1. Increase your water intake.

The brain is made up of 80% water, which plays an important role in its functioning.

When we are dehydrated, our sense of well-being suffers, and our performance and learning suffers as a result.

We're also putting our long-term mental health at risk.

The human body can lose up to 2.5 litres of water every day on average.

The lungs, skin (sweat), and urine all contribute to these losses.

On a daily level, we must strive to at least restore this loss.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day and consume plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are also high in water.

2. Consume the appropriate fats for your brain!

A total of 60% of the brain is made up of fat, including saturated fat and cholesterol.

While most of us believe fat to be bad, our brains require certain fats in order to function properly.

Essential fatty acids, such as Omega-3 and Omega-6, should make up 20% of the fat in the brain.

These two essential fatty acids are crucial since they cannot be produced by your body, therefore you must obtain them through your food. Oily fish are a good source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

3. Get some exercise.

Keep your brain in shape by staying in shape!

Regular exercise has been demonstrated by scientists to significantly reduce the impacts of sadness, anxiety, and stress.

In many circumstances, exercise can be just as effective as antidepressants. Keeping your grey matter happy and healthy is a win-win situation!

Introduce a daily brisk walk through the park or enroll in a dance class to do this.
